We were scheduled On Friday, April 17 for Jordan to go to Sacred Heart Childrens Hospital in Spokane for surgery to repair an "Interrupted aortic arch". We received a call today from the surgeon that he would like to consult with another cardiac surgeon from Harvard on Jordan's case. Jordan's surgery is postponed until that is done.

We are thankful that God's hand continues to be at work in Jordan's case. The more expert opinions we have the better her chances for a full recovery will be.

We want to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and gifts for Jordan. She will still need them very soon. We thank God that he continues to watch out for her.

SURGERY HAS AGAIN BEEN RE-SCHEDULED. JORDAN WILL BE HAVING SURGERY ON TUESDAY, APRIL 28TH AT 7:15 AM. WE ARE BLESSED TO HAVE THE TOP 2 CARDIAC SURGEONS PERFORMING HER SURGERY!! GOD IS GREAT! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS. WE WILL KEEP THE SITE UPDATED AS EVERYTHING PROCEEDS!

  5. Jordan - stay strong! We know that things feel like a roller coaster right now, but the more information the doctors have, the better your chance to come out of this stronger than before. When everything is said and done, we'll have to plan a trip to go on a real roller coaster...maybe Disney World again? Talk to your parents about that...you know we are always game for a trip to Disney!!

Love, Andrew, Melissa, Meghan & Anna

P.S. Love the music selections and the pictures!

    Hi Jordan!
Your dad went to chiro college with my husband and your mom and I were (are) great friends too! We're hoping your surgery happens soon and then on to a speedy recovery!! Our daughter had meningitis when she was a baby and now her favourite thing to tell people is "I kicked meningitis' butt!!" Pretty soon that will be you kicking some heart surgery butt. I've read that you're a strong girl and I know that you have a wonderful family. You will sail through this, I know it! Take care, good luck and know that we have most of Canada praying for you!
