Jordan had her first follow-up visit today and everything looks great!! Good news, she is able to stop taking the blood pressure medication as her blood pressure has regulated itself and is on the low side of normal, PRAISE GOD!!

Jordan will still have sometime before full recovery, but she is well on her way to being back to a normal, active 12 year old girl! Once again, we can't thank everyone enough for all of the thoughts and prayers you have sent our way. God is truly an awesome God and listens to the prayers of His people!

Love and Blessings to all,

We got up Sunday am to the awesome news that Jordan could go home! We got home Sunday afternoon and everyone is ecstatic to be back in Sunnyside! Jordan is moving around on her own and her pain and nausea are improving every day.

All the prayers have made a huge difference and God has performed miracle after miracle. Jordan's journey is still ongoing and with the Lord as our guide, comforter and rock we will all get through it.

Please feel free to call and stop by. God bless you all!

Jordan was moved out of ICU at 2pm today(Sat). She had a chest MRI which is hopefully the last testing she will have before being sent home. Jordie's doctor says she should be released from the hospital either tomorrow or for sure on Monday! She has been walking around and eating a lot!
Once again, thanks for the prayers and we are almost HOME! God's blessings to you all!

Jordan had all of her IV tubes and chest tube removed this am. She stood up and walked around for the first time (ouch!) and was an absolute trooper. The nurses and doctors are really pushing her regarding breathing and movement exercises and Jordie is responding wonderfully. All the ICU staff comments how strong and mannerful Jordie is and that makes Mom and Dad very proud!

Thanks to all for their thoughts and prayers! Our God is an awesome God!

Jordan is in the ICU. She is unable to have anything to drink (or eat) until tomorrow morning and so is having some discomfort due to thirst. They are doing what they can to keep her pain level under control and keep her relatively comfortable.
The Dr.s are extremly happy with how everything went and feel that Jordan is doing remarkably well!
Kelly hopes to be able to update sometime in the next couple of days when things settle down a little bit. All the love and prayers are GREATLY appreciated!

Surgery is complete. Jordan is in recovery, breathing tube has been removed as she is breathing on her own.

PRAISE GOD!!

Surgery is going exactly as the surgeons had hoped. The tube is in place and Jordans heart has resumed beating on it's own! They are hoping to complete the surgery within the next hour and a half.
